Our personal care services are those services that provide the recipients with assistance
necessary to complete the activities of daily living. They may be either the actual performance of personal care task
for individual or supervision and prompting so the individual performs the task by him/herself. The activities
include the following:
Activities of Daily Living:
- eating
- bathing
- dressing
- grooming
- transferring (getting in/out of the tub, from a bed to a chair)
- ambulation
- toileting
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living:
- light housekeeping
- food preparation and storage
- grocery shopping
- laundry
- assisting with scheduling medical appointment when necessary due
to the recipient's frail condition
- assisting the recipient to access transportation
- reminding the recipient to take medication
